What each error means and what to do about it.

The app shows each error in plain words where it happens. This page lists them all, by the code the API returns.

Before a transaction

These come from the API while it builds a transaction or a quote, before anything is signed.

`MINT_AUTHORITY`	The connected wallet isn't the token's mint authority	Connect the wallet that is
`SOURCE_EXISTS`	The token already has a source on this vault	Open the existing source instead
`NOT_CREATOR`	Only the source's creator can do this	Connect the creator wallet
`INSUFFICIENT_USDC`	The wallet holds less USDC than the amount	Lower the amount or add USDC
`INSUFFICIENT_SOL`	The wallet holds less SOL than the amount	Lower the amount or add SOL
`INSUFFICIENT_SHARES`	The wallet holds fewer vault shares than the amount	Lower the amount
`NOTHING_TO_CLAIM`	The creator side is empty	Wait for fees to arrive
`EPOCH_OPEN`	A stream is open, so the vault is closed to deposits and withdrawals	Wait until every stream settles
`STILL_ACTIVE`	The stream's term hasn't ended and its cap isn't reached	Settle after it ends
`ALREADY_SETTLED`	The stream is already settled	Nothing to do
`UNCONVERTED_SOL`	The vault's SOL from this stream hasn't been sold yet	Settle once it's sold
`NO_LENDERS`	The vault has no deposits yet	Wait for the first deposit
`TOKEN_ACCOUNT`	Your USDC account isn't set up	Create it from the app, then retry

Code	What it means	What to do
`INSUFFICIENT_FLUME`	The wallet holds less FLUME than the deposit	Lower the amount
`BELOW_THRESHOLD`	Opening a proposal takes 1,000,000 FLUME deposited	Deposit more first
`NO_VOTING_POWER`	The wallet has no FLUME deposited	Deposit before voting
`ALREADY_VOTED`	The wallet has already voted on this proposal	Nothing to do
`NOT_VOTING`, `VOTING_ENDED`	The proposal isn't open for votes	Nothing to do
`VOTE_LIVE`	Your FLUME is counted in a vote that's still open	Withdraw when the vote ends
`PROPOSAL_LIVE`	A proposal you opened is still being voted on	Withdraw when its vote ends
`NOTHING_DEPOSITED`	The wallet has no FLUME in governance	Nothing to do
`NOT_FINALIZABLE`	The vote is still open, or already closed	Close it after voting ends
`NOT_PASSED`	Only a passed proposal can run	Nothing to do
`HOLD_UP`	A passed proposal waits two days before it runs	Run it after the wait
`EPOCH_OPEN`	A new pricing model takes effect only once every stream settles	Run it after the last stream settles
`NOT_GOVERNED`	Governance doesn't hold the vault admin yet	Pass an `accept-admin` proposal first
`NO_HANDOVER`	The vault admin hasn't named governance as its next admin	Nothing to do until it does
`NO_GOVERNANCE`	FLUME governance isn't set up on this cluster	Nothing to do

Code	What it means	What to do
`INSUFFICIENT_HISTORY`	The source doesn't yet have seven days on record, or fees on four of them	The checklist shows when quotes open
`LIMIT`	The vault's limits leave no room for a sale right now	Try a smaller share or term, or try later
`QUOTE_CONFLICT`	A live quote with other terms already holds this source	Ask again once it lapses, two minutes after issue
`SOURCE_BUSY`	The source's last stream hasn't settled, or its SOL hasn't been sold	Settle it first
`TERMS`	The share or term is outside what the model allows	Up to 50%, one to thirty days
`SIGNATURE_STALE`	The signed request is more than two minutes old	Ask again
`SIGNATURE_INVALID`	The request wasn't signed by the creator wallet	Sign with the creator wallet
`INDEXER_NOT_READY`, `INDEXER_STALE`	Flume is catching up with the latest fees	Wait a minute and retry

Code	What it means	What to do
`EXPIRED`	The transaction's blockhash ran out before it landed	Try again; nothing was sent
`NO_SOL`	The wallet can't pay the network fee	Add a little SOL
`INSUFFICIENT_FUNDS`	A token transfer in the transaction lacked funds	Check the balance and retry
`TRANSACTION_PROGRAM`	The relay only forwards transactions for Flume, FLUME governance, and the token and system programs	Send it through your own RPC
`TRANSACTION_SIGNATURE`	The transaction is missing a signature	Sign it in your wallet first
`TRANSACTION_FAILED`	The network rejected the transaction for another reason	The message names it

When the program itself refuses a transaction, the API names the program's error. The ones you can meet in normal use:

Program error	What it means
`COHORT_ACTIVE`	Deposits and withdrawals wait for every stream to settle
`QUOTE_EXPIRED`	The firm quote expired before the purchase landed
`NONCE_MISMATCH`	The source has sold since this quote was issued
`SOURCE_BUSY`	The source already has an open stream
`CONCENTRATION`	The purchase is more than 10% of the vault's cash
`LIQUIDITY`	The purchase would leave the vault under its reserve
`SLIPPAGE`	The deposit or withdrawal would return less than its minimum
`STILL_ACTIVE`	The stream hasn't ended yet
`UNCONVERTED_SOL`	The vault's SOL must be sold before settling
`CREATOR_AUTHORITY`	Only the token's mint authority can register it
`INVALID_MINT`	The token or USDC mint doesn't fit the program's rules
