For creators
Claim and settle
Collect your side of every fee, and close a stream once its term or cap is reached.
Claim your side
Your part of every fee collects in the source until you claim it: USDC in the source's fee account, SOL in the source account itself. You can claim at any time, while a stream is open or not.
Open the source
In the app, open the source. Your side shows what's waiting.
Claim
Press Claim to your wallet and sign. Everything that's yours, USDC and SOL together, moves to your wallet in one transaction.
Only the creator wallet can claim, and a claim only ever pays the creator. The vault's side is never in the source to begin with: its USDC moves to the vault the moment a fee lands.
When a stream ends
A stream stops paying the vault at whichever comes first:
- The end of the term. The term starts at the second of sale and runs for the number of days you sold. A fee that lands at the exact end second already belongs to you.
- The cap. Once the vault has received twice the price, its share stops, mid-payment if need be. The rest of that payment and every one after it is yours.
From then on the source pays you in full, even before the stream is settled.
Settle
Settling closes the stream on chain. It records what the vault received, takes the stream off the vault's list of open streams, and lets the source sell again.
- Anyone can settle an ended stream, not only its creator. The app shows Settle on any stream whose term or cap has ended.
- The vault's SOL must be sold first. If fees were paid in SOL during the term, the vault's lamports have to be converted to USDC before the stream can settle. See Fees paid in SOL.
- It settles whatever arrived. A stream that came in short settles the same way as one that hit its cap. The vault keeps what it received; nothing is owed back.
Sell again
After a stream settles, the source can be quoted again, from the same rule and the most recent seven days of history. There is no limit on how many times a source can sell, one stream at a time.
